Kriega offers a complete line of backpacks that are of insanely good quality. I narrowed down what I wanted to run based off experience with my previous pack. Single track riding proves that hauling everything you need can be tricky as it’s important to keep things on the light and agile side. I found that my current pack just wasn’t offering the right amount of room and lacked a few features. At least in the PNW, a majority of the rides warrants a “just in case” jacket. My Ogio while great for sprint enduros and off-road races, was a tad small for everything I wanted to carry.

The R20’s straps are the best feature. They turn away from your arms and form to your shoulders like a glove. This keeps the bag from moving around, which is important in off-road conditions. I love the buckle and materials used, it seems bulletproof.
